Your Cosmik Marketplace is set up, you have several Digital Collectibles and would like to sell some, follow me!
The process to list an item is straightforward, I won’t go into too many details here. I want to see if you can follow precise orders. A good pilot is a pilot that respects authority.
- Step 1 : Go to your Marketplace profile.
- Step 2 : Select the card you want to sell and click on "SELL".
- Step 3 : A "Permission" pop-up will appear. The Cosmik Marktplace wants you to confirm that it has the right to transfer the Digital Collectibles you own if someone buys a Collectible you put for sale. >> Grant the Marketplace the permission
- Step 4 : Once permission is granted, you'll be directed to a module to specify the conditions of your offer. Here, you can:
- Step 5 : After setting these conditions, you'll view a summary of your offer at the bottom of the module. Here, you can review the selling price and the specifics of what you'll receive. The Cosmik Marketplace charges a 5% fee on each transaction, calculated on the selling price. Additionally, the gas fees are covered by Cometh, meaning that Cometh Corp is paying for those.
Grats cadet! Your Digital Collectible has been listed and is now for sale. You can cancel the listing at any time but let's hope someone will buy it soon!
Every pilots of the Cosmik Battle program can make offers on the Digital Collectibles you own but before we proceed, let's discuss WETH, shall we?
You might be curious as to why you would require WETH when we previously mentioned that you would need ETH for transactions. This is because the scenario is slightly different when making and receiving offers; in those cases, WETH is utilized as the currency. WETH stands for Wrapped ETH. Unlike ETH, which is a coin, WETH is a contract representing the coin ETH.
Keep in mind 1 WETH = 1 ETH.
You do not need to concern yourself with the specifics; what you need to grasp is the implication of this distinction:
Simply put, you can use ETH when purchasing an item listed for sale, but you cannot use it when making offers. When you make an offer, you're not initiating a transfer, you're proposing a deal that the other party can choose to accept or decline. If the other party accepts the offer, the transaction is considered initiated on their end, and only WETH can be used in this scenario. To summarize:
If you've received and accepted an offer from a player, WETH will be deposited into your Cosmik Account. But don't fret, here's an easy method to convert your WETH into ETH >> Click on “Account” / “Convert Wrapped ETH” / Convert the amount of tokens you need. You can convert ETH to WETH and WETH to ETH for free and in just few clicks.
To keep track of the offers you've received, simply navigate to your marketplace profile and check out the "Received Offers" section. You'll notice that a weird individual named "Jerome" sent mean offer for one of my Digital Collectibles just 20 minutes ago. To accept this offer, I will just click on "Accept".
A confirmation message will then appear for you to review the operation. By clicking on "Confirm", your Digital Collectible will be sold!
You have Collectibles you would like to send to a frenemy but you don't want to sell it? Cometh Corp has got you covered. On top of letting pilots sell their Collectibles, Cometh Corp also allows free trading!
To transfer a collectible to another pilot, simply click on the card of your portfolio you would like to transfer. You will see a small arrow on the right, click on it.
You will then be asked to provide the wallet address of the recipient. ATTENTION PILOT! You can only transfer your Collectible to another Smart Wallet (wallet deployed by Cometh for each Cosmik Account). An error message will appear if you try to send the Collectible to another external wallet. For more information, please visit :
