Hello Cadet! Good to see you again. The last time we saw each other I taught you about the resources available in Cosmik Battle and how you can collect them. For this second lesson, I intend to demonstrate the purpose of these resources: crafting cards. However, before delving into that, let's briefly discuss the cards themselves.
In Cosmik Battle, there are more than 200 cards available in two categories: Core and Premium. Now, what sets them apart? Core Cards represent the fundamental version of Cosmik Battle cards, equipping players with essential weapons for battle. On the other hand, Premium Cards (which can be recognized by their blue frame) cater to our most skilled pilots. Unlike Core Cards, Premium Cards are presented as Digital Collectibles, offering opportunities for trading and upgrades. It's important to note that Premium Cards do not provide any gameplay advantages over Core Cards.
What are Digital Collectibles you will ask? Digital Collectibles encompass in-game items like cards, spaceships, and cosmetics, utilizing Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) technology. Consequently, players possess complete ownership of these items and even the developer, Cometh, cannot revoke this ownership. Players have the liberty to do as they please with their assets, including freely sharing them with others, whether on our marketplace or elsewhere. Cometh Corp is establishing a fair gaming model where players retain full ownership of the assets they have acquired or collected, without being reliant on the developers.
You'll observe that the cards don't all share the same frame; this is because they don't possess equal rarity. In Cosmik Battle, there are four levels of scarcity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic.
You're well-versed in cards; now, let's venture to the Forge. Here we are — welcome, cadet! This is the Forge, a distinctive and legendary location where all Cosmik Battle pilots convene to forge their invaluable weapons.
Within the Forge, you have the capability to craft Core Boosters, each yielding 5 Core Cards. Crafting a single Core Booster requires 1000 Galactic Credits. You can also craft Premium Boosters, which provide you with 5 Premium Cards each, and they can be crafted for 100 Aurium.
When you craft Boosters, you're not obliged to open them right away. They won't vanish if you decide to take a well-deserved break. Instead, they'll patiently await your return in the Forge, exactly where you left them.
