Through the annals of time, "Olympus" has stood as a beacon, a legacy, and often an inspiration for countless pilots spanning the universe, transcending the barriers of race and galaxies. Remnants of Ancient Greek deities linger in the beliefs of many modern civilizations, and pilots have even forged weapons to invoke their powers on the battlefield.
Within the ethereal halls of Olympus, where the stars themselves gather as celestial spectators, pilots from distant galaxies converge once in a century to commemorate the ancient Human tradition—the Olympics—a tradition believed to be crafted by the demi-god Heracles himself. The Olympics represent a sacred rite, a testament to the enduring spirit of competition and unity that transcends the constraints of time and space. Thus, on this auspicious occasion, pilots and denizens of the Cosmik universe assemble amidst the ruins of Olympus. For twelve human weeks, the myths and legends of the Greek gods are recounted and exalted in celebration.
Upon the cosmic stage, adorned with the splendor of celestial wonders, the pilots become more than mere mortals—they become champions of legend, embodying the virtues of strength, cunning, and resilience. Each duel becomes a mythic saga, a clash of titans where fate hangs in the balance and the very fabric of reality trembles with anticipation. From the towering peaks of Mount Olympus to the shimmering waters of the River Styx, the pilots brave the perils of ancient lore, guided by the wisdom of the gods and the echoes of forgotten legends. In Season 3 of Olympus, numerous challenges await pilots, testing their skills and bravery. But most importantly, these challenges offer the chance to collect valuable rewards. Discover what the gods have in store for you:
Each monthly event will now include a leaderboard reset and exclusive rewards. This change aims to stimulate competition and challenge among players, preventing a 1,000-point gap between competitors of similar skill levels. Traditional cups and tournaments might return after Season 3, but in a new format.

The launch of Season 3 also introduces a new balancing strategy for Cosmik Battle. Starting now, a new wave of balancing will occur at the beginning of each month, coinciding with the launch of monthly events and the leaderboard reset. This approach allows us to constantly invigorate the meta, rediscover underutilized cards, , adjust those that may have become too powerful and cancel some of our choices if need be. Nothing is irreversible!
Adopting a Test and Learn philosophy, we will rely on our expertise and valuable player feedback to implement changes that benefit all players, from the most competitive to newcomers.
Season 3 Olympus kicks off with the first wave of balancing, including more than 40 changes. Dive into this major update HERE.
Adapting competition to a monthly rhythm will help reduce level differences and bot matches in matchmaking. Additionally, we are introducing two more changes to make matchmaking more seamless and progression more challenging for top players.
ALREADY LIVE -New points allocation
In Cosmik Battle, the calculation of points that players gain or lose is determined by a three-variable formula:
Previously, Base Points were uniform across all ranks, meaning an Explorer faced the same level of difficulty climbing levels as a Mercenary or higher. The 1.2 Update introduces decreasing Base Points, allowing lower ranks to collect more points and lose fewer compared to higher ranks. This change ensures smoother and more satisfying progression for new players, while providing more competitive gameplay and progression for top players.
TO BE IMPLEMENTED SOON - Matchmaking system
We will soon proceed with a change in our system to optimize matchmaking and avoid huge skill gap between opponents.
As Cosmik Battle release in February 2024, we are now over the economy assessment period. Over these first 4 months, we voluntarily allowed ships owners to collect a fair amount of Aurium to give them an edge over newcomers. Now is time to make it more challenging and preserve the game economy. Effective July 3rd, the default Aurium value per Bounty is reduced from 2 to 1.
