Attention pilots! After 2 months of Early Access, Cosmik Battle has now reached 1.0 status. Don’t make any mistake, this is not the end of road. Mission Control is happy to share with you the Cosmik Roadmap for Q2 / Q3 of human year 2024.
STORE BETA & CARDBACKS. Exciting cardbacks will soon hit the market, allowing you to enhance your impressive collections. These cardbacks will introduce Series, offering unique designs within themed lines. Anticipate collections featuring Planets, Constellations, Ships, and many more creative options!
WALLET MANAGEMENT. Introducing a highly anticipated feature: wallet management. Through the marketplace, players will gain the ability to transfer their Digital Collectibles and ETH to external wallets supported by Muster. While the marketplace won't facilitate transfers to other networks directly, players will have the capability to withdraw all their assets from their Smart Wallet via the marketplace interface.
MARKETPLACE 1.0. The Marketplace Beta is undergoing refinement to achieve 1.0 status. Version 1.0 will enhance the information feature, enabling players to receive email notifications for key account activities such as items sold and offers on items.
BATTLE SCENE FINAL. The Battle Scene will undergo small surgeries to improve global quality of life: historic revamp, VFX polish, tool tips optimization…
STORE 1.0. After cardbacks, here come the emojis! Nothing like taunting your opponent after a huge win! In Store 1.0, you'll find a variety of emoji collections and other minor enhancements to elevate your experience.
WALLET RECOVERY. Cometh Connect facilitates the deployment of a Smart Wallet for pilots, utilizing passkeys stored in pilots' devices. The original passkey, stored in the device upon the initial creation of the account, holds significant importance:
Consequently, Cosmik Battle will incorporate a Wallet Recovery feature, enabling all players to regain control of their account in the event of any issues with their original device (such as phone changes, losses, crashes, etc.).
CORE GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENT. Several adjustments are in the works for the Core Gameplay to reduce game duration. While the average game of Cosmik Battle typically lasts between 8 to 10 minutes, we've observed matches stretching beyond 30 minutes, especially when both players employ control decks. Prolonged and frustrating games are not in line with the essence of Cosmik Battle, which prioritizes explosive and fast-paced gameplay, delivering excitement from start to finish Without compromising the strategic depth of the game, we're planning to overhaul the Core Gameplay to eliminate these extended matches and ensure dynamic battles throughout the cosmos. Player input will be sought on this matter, with all options being thoroughly considered.
LEGENDA PROGRAM. Some of you out there are seasoned pilots, veterans of the Cometh Battle program, the precursor to the rebranded Cosmik Battle. Among these original pilots are those who earned NFT cards, also known as Premium Cards. Cometh needed time to evaluate the performance and status of the new economy before making decisions regarding the fate of these cards. With the Early Access phase now behind us, we have gathered sufficient data to proceed with this analysis. Cometh is on the brink of unveiling "The Legenda Program," a reward initiative for players who were there from the beginning. Further information and details will be communicated in the coming weeks, with the program set to launch in June. Stay tuned for updates!
COMETH BATTLE SHIP MIGRATION. Strikers have long been highly sought-after, having been released when Cometh was still operating on the Polygon network. However, with Cosmik Battle now deployed on Muster, Cometh's proprietary chain, our goal is to enable Striker trading within the marketplace. To accomplish this, we must first migrate these ships from Polygon to Muster. Our top blockchain engineers are dedicated to this task, but it will require some time. Why the delay? While other options exist to obtain Strikers outside the Cosmik ecosystem, we are prioritizing the enhancement of our tech stack and the rollout of the Legenda Program through our blockchain efforts.
ABOUT RENTAL. Please note that at this stage, we are not considering bringing back rental into the experience. Rental requires a tremendous amount of adaptation, hence we will first asses players' behaviors before committing on developing this feature.
