Attention, this message is aimed at all Cometh Battle Players. If you did not actively participate in Cometh Battle (formerly known as Cosmik Battle), this message does not apply to you.
Cometh is a super organization within the Cosmik Universe. No one truly knows what their business is as they have always cultivated mystery and secret around their operations. Only a lucky few have managed to join the organization. The visible part of the iceberg is the Battle program that gathers the best pilots in the galaxy, a program formerly called and known as “Cometh Battle”. Cometh Battle was the first version of the program, good intentions, rough around the edges, flaws in the structure. As Cometh grew in influence they decided to expand their program to all living galaxies inside the Cosmik universe. This is how Cosmik Battle was born.
Cometh Battle welcomed many pilots in its early days. Some collected ships, others amassed various cards, and many hoped for a token of appreciation from Cometh Corp to embark on this new adventure. Many efforts have been made to reward our valued players:
- Cometh Corp did not take any revenues during the Cometh Battle era, instead investing over €1 million back into our community through tournaments.
- Since April 2024, spaceship owners have been able to use their prized vessels to earn Aurium, making them the primary beneficiaries of this revenue stream.
- New tournaments have been organized since the launch of Cosmik Battle. In the Genesis Tournament, 2 ETH was distributed, and $10,000 will be awarded during the Season 2 Tournament, where Cometh Battle players have a clear advantage due to their experience.
The fate of the cards has been a lingering question, but Cometh Corp has carefully considered the best course of action based on two crucial factors:
1. Allowing players to use the cards they owned in Cometh Battle.
2. Ensuring the new game economy, designed for longevity, remains stable.
We recognized that migrating more than 145.000 Cometh Battle cards to Cosmik Battle would jeopardize the game’s balance. Therefore, alternative solutions were necessary. The Legenda Program rewards Cometh Battle players who owned cards in three distinct ways:
1. Exclusive Cosmetic Collections
2. Migration into Core Cards
3. Conversion to Galactic Credits
The Legenda Program categorizes players into five different ranks based on the number of NFT cards they owned in Cometh Battle. In total, just over 3,100 players collectively owned more than 145,000 NFT cards.
Let’s take a look at the ranks:
IMPORTANT. The snapshot for eligibility to the Legenda Program and rank attribution has been set for May 29th, 2024, at 2 PM CET. Cometh Corp will use the contents of unique wallets as of this date to determine rewards. Transferring or trading cards after this snapshot will not qualify you for new ranks or rewards.
We strongly advise** players not to buy or acquire any new cards from Cometh Battle from now on. **Do not** accept offers from other players promising to increase your rank and rewards.
All ranks are eligible for card migration and Galactic Credits conversion. However, only Navigator, Guardian, Sicarius, and Imperator ranks are eligible for the Legenda cosmetic sets.
OG’s achievements must be recognized and celebrated. Cometh Corp has designed exclusive cardbacks and emojis for the most active players, although Voyager players are not eligible for these rewards.
Each rank receives its own unique cardback and emoji to showcase in battle:
- **NAVIGATOR**: Common Cardback and Common Emoji
- **GUARDIAN**: Uncommon Cardback and Uncommon Emoji
- **SICARIUS**: ANIMATED Rare Cardback and Rare Emoji
- **IMPERATOR**: ANIMATED Mythic Cardback and Mythic Emoji
Yes, Sicarius and Imperator players will be the first to own animated cardbacks in Cosmik Battle. More animated cardbacks will be introduced in the future, but you’ll be among the pioneers!
All ranks are eligible.
To protect Cosmik Battle’s new economy, no new Premium Cards will be created during this process. However, we recognize that players want to use the cards they collected without additional effort to reacquire them.
**Cometh Battle Cards → Cosmik Battle Core Cards**
The Legenda Program will enable Cometh Battle players to receive Core Cards based on the NFT cards they owned in Cometh Battle. For each NFT card you own, you will receive a Core Card, with the following limits:
- Up to 2 duplicates for Common, Uncommon, and Rare cards
- Up to 1 duplicate for Mythic cards
This approach ensures that Cometh Battle players can recreate all the decks they had in Cometh Battle.
Let’s take 2 examples:
Some players have several duplicates of each card, this is why the Legenda Program will allow the conversion of NFT Cards into Galactic Credits. The following rates will apply :
Well saved those Galactic Credits will enable players to open new Booster packs after the release of new extensions and other utility that will be brought progressively
The introduction of the Legenda Program allows us to accomplish all our objectives and commitment to our community:
- Distributing hundreds of thousands $ to the community
- Letting them keep control of their spaceships in Cosmik Battle
- Allowing players to use the cards they collected in Cometh Battle
The only outstanding component will be enabling Striker sales in the Cosmik Marketplace. Rental has been deprioritized in our current roadmap to concentrate on mobile porting and a new extension.
The Legenda Program will commence in July 2024. Additional rules will be communicated by then, and the reward interface will be accessible in the marketplace.
Over and out!
